Grouping
I'm a recent convert from EQ. I'm enjoying the game so far, but I must admit, it has been difficult to get groups or even some help in this game. My question is, what are some tips for attracting groups and where are some good places to get gold or find stuff to sell? I bought a salvage kit, but I really need an identification kit. Money is hard to come by in this game, as nothing I find seems to be worth much.
If anyone would like to group some time, just let me know. My toon's name is Marcus De Young. Thx in advance... |

My game name is Robots In Disguize, gimme a holler.
Sounds to me like you bought NightFall. Heroes, like Koss for example, are a new feature unique to NightFall. Though they are very effective, the downside they created is a gaming world where many people would rather bring a hero who's skills they customized to their idea of perfection rather than a real person who may or may not have what they want. Thus, grouping in NighFall is hard. Yes, it is annoying. |

As both Canadian Bacon and bart kind of implied, it would help to know which version of the game you bought, Prophecies (the first one), Factions, or Nightfall. Also, what profession are you using? This info will really help us help you better.
By the way, my character's name is Kartok the Swift, feel free to whisper me in game, I'll be glad to help. Usually if I don't respond right away though, I have GW minimized, but I'll get back to ya. |

www.guildwiki.org A great site for a new player... As far as making money as a low lvl character.... buy an ID kit or trade for one ....ID everything sell the junk (white blue purple generally speaking) to the merchant and try to sell the "golds" to other players...althought most people won't buy "nonmax dmg" weapons. Save all the money you can...only buy what you need...take your time and try to have enough cash to buy "max" armor at the consulate docks. they cost 1k each plus materials I believe.... hrm can't really think of much else... if you play on American Servers... I am on around 6PM EST put me in your friends list (hit N) my IGN is Coridan A
